Anyone know the proper nomenclature of those connectors? The two wire black outside, one terminal exposed until put together? I have heard the as J connectors maybe. But my search for that comes up empty.
Edit: found it. 2 way flat molded connector.

In industry they're known as "insulated DC polarity connectors". The one shown is a "load" connector, meaning it attaches to the Lamp, motor, or whatever load you have, the opposite connector to this is the voltage connector, it goes to the battery. You never want the un-insulated pin to have voltage on it when disconnected. Lots of guys call them "motorcycle connectors" since I guess they're pretty common in that application. If you can find them cheap, buy a bunch, they're awesome. A little dielectric grease helps them go together easier. They come in 18 gauge, all the way to 10 gauge that I've seen, but probably are available in heavier gauges too.
