Noticed there are two different bushings in the pack, I'd imagine these get installed incorrectly often by folks being in a hurry.

Drop pitman arm arrives today, still need to figure out what I'm doing about shackle bushings.

I may go this route:

Just have to figure out if the front and rear shackles are the same on my truck.

Hey Charles I am pretty sure they are the same.
When I did my last lift kit I bought a set from TGW. Unfortunately I need to replace them already as there is something wrong up front.
But wait on buying them. I have to take mine off.
I will PM you about this stuff. We might be able to help each other on these, as mine is all apart right now.
There are a few other things you need to be aware of when doing the install that most never talk about on the forums.
If God is your co-pilot, you need to switch seats!

Should I get BJs braided brake lines or should I try to find the correct Chevy motor home brake lines? http://www.autozone.com/brakes-and-trac ... ckfit=true

Ive got some skyjacker fronts here to install and would have never noticed the different bushings. probably doesn't matter much since I have aftermarket shackles but Ill measure when I get to it.. coincidentally skyjacker sent me 3 short sleeves and one long. I don't really care that's close enough but boy do you have a attention to detail Id have never noticed that.

BTW, I finally got under the truck to look at the swaybar links. You can still see the part number on them.

A side note: I'm glad I'm not the only one who uses zip ties to hold brake lines!

Got the rear springs installed today, What a pain. I did the front first since I thought they would be the harder ones - Nope.
The cradle that the front of the rear springs go into was a bear to get lined up since it seems like the bushings on the skyjacker springs are a hair wider then the old ones.

Also, the rear shocks dont seem to want to fit. with the top of the shock on the upper post the tube hits the axle before the lower mounting hole lines up... Seems like the degree wedge is causing the brackets to be rotated just forward enough to cause the conflict.
What are those wedges doing? is it to put the yoke more in line with the new angle of the drive shaft?

Wedges are to decrease the driveshaft angle. At the expense of some misalignment.

I was talking to someone who said I should ding in a small dent on the shock tube that it wouldn't hurt it....

Has no one else had this issue with a skyjacker lift?

I wouldn't risk denting a shock tube. Flip it over and see if it fits that way.

It would fit, but there is an UP arrow on the shock...

I can't believe no one else has had this issue, skyjacker is probably the most installed kit...

Could you just relocate the shock mount?

Not without grinding and welding, which is not in the instructions of this kit. I'm going to call skyjacker tomorrow
