Brake booster?

Post by Southpawshooter »

I have a 1968 jeep wagoneer turned rock crawler and need to upgrade the brake booster and master cylinder because I'm running 40" bloggers. Is there a booster upgrade out there that I can get that would require minimal fab work.

GM Hydroboost is the way to go. Just make sure you replace all of your soft lines and any hard line that is questionable. You are literally doubling the amount of pressure the booster provides so you need to make sure everything in your system is up to the task. I am running a HB unit out of a Chevy Astro van with discs added to the rear and it will throw you through the windshield.
