Never got it to fire. So, I pulled it out and will take a closer look at it when I have time. Thanks to everyone for their help

We used to take the plastic dispatch binder for our HMMWVs and jam it up against the exhaust outlet (this plugging the exhaust) during cold starts. Worked like a champ. It gets cold in Europe and if the truck wasn't started every couple of days they were impossible without some assistance. Ether was a last resort.
