Cheap Hobby wrote:Yes NAPA will have the studs. Just make sure you get the ones for Jeep and nut Chevy. Chevy studs are smaller on the nut end. If possible gget the wider brass nuts while you are there. They are easier to take off after heat cool cycle.
NAPA had no part number for the studs. Still looking.

Sorry even NAPA is running out of people that know how to find something with out a computer.
79 Cherokee WT QT Golden Eagle white with gold windows "Pigger" only blows hubs the night before a road trip or the clodest night of year. Has only been towed cause of stupid.
Yep 3/8-16, use some good antiseize on those studs and you won't have trouble again.
I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but my studs keep stretching. Is there any harm in replacing the studs with regular grade 8 bolts and lock washers?

I am guessing the front driveshaft has detonated at some point and wreaked havoc on the floor pan.
That would be the right answer. The facts are as follows, non standard 129 transfer case, all new wiring from firewall to back of vehicle, and huge bump in floor.
Just catching up here. So it has an Eagle tcase. If you do not have a 2 speed tcase lined up yet, please consider getting a 2XX before Ouray. 208 would be my recommendation. Someone in the AZ group may be able to help locate that and a rear drive shaft. Low range is preferred for Ouray. It is very easy to burn out your brakes coming down the mountain in high range. We almost lost a few people in 2006. I never want that to happen during an Invasion again if I can help it. Giterdun.
What was the part number on that cat? I believe I'm going to need one ...

I am pulling the water pump today. While doing that I found plenty of issues. Radiator looks great but the pump and other parts on the engine do not. Not sure what to do. Need to clean the block somehow. Also spotted quite a few leaks on the oil pan, oil press transmitter, and valve covers.

Thanks to the guys in the Denver, CO area, I went on a parts run and got some much needed parts. Nice guys and have some cool Jeeps. Thanks to CharlesKline, Derf, and Nikkormat for all the help and taking the time out of their schedules to help me on short notice.
