96 351w maybe , what do you think

Post by Cheapthrills »

So I have a 95 bronco and found a few very cheap ford's w 351s in them ranging yrs from 93-97 possibly to use for a donor or drive depending on which one I'd theoretically pick up. Either way 351w and c6 is the idea .... full roller engines with ok fuel economy and decent torque.

I'd much rather do the ls GM but are expensive up front around here and donors are far and few between it seems looking at craigslist.

Yes I don't know I'd use tcase though as they hang low and while you can clock them they have oiling issues, although may use it as is the
Justin to get it on the road

Sounds like a decent swap. A local J10 has a 351c in it. Measure thrice, cut once, post pics.

Wow. You did good. I'm in the same boat. I love the LS engines. I have a 2000 T/A WS6 and have has a 99 T/A. Both have been solid mechanically, but everyone thinks their 200K mi LS vehicle is worth $6-7K. I'll probably do a magnum 5.2 or 5.9 swap on mine from a Grand Cherokee or a Durango.
