But I also think (from my experience) that the Holley 2D Projection setup is marginal in our applications.
When it was good it was great, when it was bad it gave me constant fits.
I have a low tolerance for things like that, plus I don't want stuff I can't fix myself in the middle of nowhere.

You want to convert it back over to TBI while at Ouray? I'm sitting here on like three or four complete 7747 TBI harnesses/tbi/sensors/etc. They are ready to drop into a FSJ and run good.

I got 10-11mpg towing the 4000lb camper up the pass in the Honcho. That was mostly 3rd/4th gear and nearly all uphill. Speed limit was 45. Then I got ~14 mpg towing it back down the same way mostly in 5th gear. AMC 360 with junkyard TBI.

Don't think there are any loose bolts, except behind the steering wheel. :D

Sucks your not bringing it out to Ouray. I was wanting to see it in action. :fsj:

Okay, that's what happened to the axle. Since I skilled Ouray I didn't realize you drove it there this year. But I remember something about taking side trips to get there.

Anyways, you make it home right? I know a place that can set up a 14 bolt for ya. ;)

Its pretty easy to get more power out of those engines. Headers and an exhaust will bump you up to 300hp with no real change in economy. Intake and a chip will bump you up more. Go from 270hp to closer to 320hp with just those. Will help a lot on long grades.

Like the tow rig! I had a 93 idi for a few years I really liked those cabs for some reason, good solid trucks. I still have the same configuration, just a 99 now. Love the longer wheelbase for stability.
