What do you do in your free time now that your rig is pretty much done?

Drive it? :)

Hi Atla,

I don't drive it as much as I intended. I hope we can take it on some camping trips this summer. I'll post pictures.

I do need another project, but have no funds for anything now...it's all in the Jeep.

Weren't you trying to sell it? Did you end up not having to?

It was for sale, but I have not sold it.

I'd be out of the hole I dug myself if I sold it, but I don't want to let it go for 1/2 of what I put into it. I put more $$ into it than it's value, but I wasn't building it to sell it. And I wouldn't do anything different (or cheaper) on it.

Same old story of enthusiast's tunnel vision and the objects of their affection. :)

So, it's still mine and I'm happy. I do love driving it.

Glad to hear you can keep it. I thought it was a pretty much have to sell situation. Agreed on never getting the money out of it.

Thanks, Loner.

Atla, that's one the LEDs for that light up when the alarm is armed. To discourage bad thoughts from bad people.

I think I've missed it in the build thread but maybe not. how are you running the wiring from inside the cab to the roof rack?

Thanks

I came up thru the B pillar with 5 wires. Forward lights, rear work lights, rear tail lights, brake lights, and ground. I drilled a hole in the roof, put in a grommet, and siliconed the snot out of it. Then there are 2 weatherpak plugs, one forward, one going back, just as it comes out of the roof.

I plan on changing it to a flush mount bulkhead fitting so I don't have a 4" tail sitting there when I take the rack off, but I can't find exactly like I'm looking for. I'll have to drop the headliner to install it.
