Sounds like the 18th is a go. Everyone happy with Auburn as the place? My parents still live there, I'll see if they know of anywhere to do an easy/fast trail if there's interest or food/photos/parts/pictures/general shenanigans is fine with me too.

Auburn is a ways north for those of us that are more south. Its a longer trip from here to auburn than it is from Sac to here. In an earlier post I mentioned meeting up at The Standard Poor here in Sonora for the first meetup. We can do others after that, maybe have a more central location.
But at least for this first one, lets try and keep it at the first location mentioned. Next one maybe we can do Jackson or something more central.
EDIT: Just noticed you are in sparks, thought you were in Sac for some reason.
If driving to Sonora is too far for you RenoD, you could meet up with me or one of the other Sac valley people and ride down with one of us. From Sparks, Sonora would be like a 7 hour round trip run taking 395/Hwy4 south to Ione. That quite a run in an FSJ, but not too bad in a modern car.
If that's something you might want to do, let me know. I have no problem giving a ride but if there's more than one riding along, someone is going to be sitting on the floor in back or I'll have to take the Altima instead.
Perhaps we can leave our FSJs at home for this one and maybe plan a group event and bring our toys along?
I'm cool with whatever is decided...I just want to hang out with fellow FSJ addicts.

It's not really the distance that's a problem, I work nights (including the night before) so to get at least some sleep I wouldn't be getting into Sonora until like 2-3pm which is probably a little late for some folks to start a gathering. I don't have a problem meeting up with someone in the Sac area and heading down, just don't want them to have to head too far out of the way. I'll figure something out though, count me in.

I actually think that would probably be ok. Its a get together with food and such. Its not going to be an all-day affair, or at least I don't think it is
79 Cherokee WT QT Golden Eagle white with gold windows "Pigger" only blows hubs the night before a road trip or the clodest night of year. Has only been towed cause of stupid.
I already told the wife (O, ok, ok...I got permission) I was going to be there on the 18th.
If anyone from the Sactown area wants to meet up before heading south let me know. I plan on rolling out of town around 11 AM so there will be time to sort any gremlins that might get loose.
