It has been done with success but often the results aren't so good.
The OEM vinyl and scrim get dry and brittle over the years and often tear or crack when removing from the original backing board.
I'm actually in the process of doing this right now and bought panels from MIB. you do have to start with good quality original vinyl.

Interesting. Please keep us updated if you can.

I asked a local upholstery shop about re-wrapping the vinyl on new backing boards and they can do it but they wanted over $600 just for 4 doors.

I have a 1986 grand wagoneer and the plastic headliner has warped. I need to replace it. Can you help me?

No, the shipping is very high for a two piece headliner $125.00 plus
I'm working on a three piece headliner.

Hi! I was wondering if you still make interior panels for '90 Grand Wagoneer? Also, do you just make the ABS panels or do you also do complete doors with carpet, molding, etc? If so, can you let me know the price in a PM for all 4? How far behind you are on work, etc? Thanks!
