Robin Williams

Post by REDONE »

Found dead, suspect suicide. If that's the case, I hope he did it because he though it was funny somehow. He always made me laugh. My favorite was his stand up, the one about golf. That's how I'm going to remember him.

He was a classic. His improve was great. Did you ever see 'one hour photo'. It was a dramatic role and I thought he was great.

It's sad if he committed suicide. I wonder if he had any idea how big the news would be and if it might have kept him from doing it. A lot of people are felling sad tonight.

Very sad for sure. He had been dealing with depression for a LONG time. He was always my favorite comedian. RIP....and may God forgive you :(

Depression is such a dark place...so sad :(

He was such a good actor and comedian. Heard once that he rarely followed the script and did most of his lines ad-lib.

An unfortunate demise for a talented actor and comedian. I remember him in Popeye, not too many remember that movie.

Always shocking to hear about stuff like this, but alcoholics very often struggle with deep depression. We lost a friend a few years ago, she was a strikingly beautiful girl with two beautiful daughters, but she was also an alky. We didn't know she was depressed, but it had to have been terrible in order for her to leave those two little girls behind, the vodka and pills was as effective as a belt around the neck. It's just a horrible, tragic thing whenever it happens. RIP Robin.

Huh. Almost everyone loved him but me, I couldn't stand him, I always thought of him as a Jonathan Winters rip-off artist, like he took JW's act and vulgared it up. Of course I didn't want him to die, and hope he's at peace now, but I just never cared for his brand of humor, it's interesting because I'm obviously in the smallest minority, my kids loved him and couldn't understand how I could sit through his act without cracking a smile, but jonathan Winters killed me, I laughed so harn at him once my wife almost called an ambulance. They're both gone now, and we'll miss them.
