I was hoping to appeal to as many owners/enthusiast as possible with one set of images. I liked the B and C pillars drawn in better but I left them out to broaden the market. I think you're right though, I should add those details. With such a limited audience it would be better to make them more model specific.CosmicRhino wrote:I like it. I would think if you're showing the chrome trim around the top and rear of the windows you should show the variations of 2 door vs 4 door chrome window trim. Something that typically quickly indicates Cherokee vs wagoneer from the silhouette view.
I'd love to see a J truck, Cherokee 2 door and wagoneer 4 door all on the same shirt. I've always liked how the silhouette of the 2 door Cherokee is basically identical to the J truck when you remove the bed topper, if you could.FSJ wrote:I was hoping to appeal to as many owners/enthusiast as possible with one set of images. Thanks but I know there's a Store associated with this site so I'm not soliciting sales. I have been researching options for retailing my FSJ art but I'm sure the store here helps support the site and I don't want to take away from that. I might be able to work something out with the owner if I get something going but like I said I don't want to take anything away from the site's business.berettajeep wrote:If reasonably priced I'd buy one!
That's a great idea, I'd have to do two trucks, one with a brow and one without. The original art is in vectors so making changes isn't difficult just time consuming, I'm not a pro so it takes me a while. I did this design a while back and kind of forgot about it. I'm going to have to sit down in the next couple of days and work up a truck and Cherokee.CosmicRhino wrote:I'd love to see a J truck, Cherokee 2 door and wagoneer 4 door all on the same shirt. "Simple?!" You've never seen me work! It seems like if there's a harder way to do something I'll find it. It'll take a little while but I think I'll do a couple of trucks and a Cherokee.Tatsadasayago wrote:Changing your art would be fairly simple.
I'll have to contact him and see what I can work out.Tatsadasayago wrote:I cannot see an issue with you becoming a vendor here. Stuka is a very cool guy and all you need to do it contact him and show your final product.
BTW: I am so taken with your idea I want to do something similar in 3DsMax to render something similar for my FakeBook title image.
Here are the ones I found.Tatsadasayago wrote:Yeah, I'd pay 100.00 for a properly modeled Waggy as the changes required to make a J-Truck and narrow and wide track Cherokees would take much less effort. The remaining effort would be to setup a good render scene...
Nice work, I'm jealous of your skills! Have you tried Inkscape? I like some of the tools in it better than my CorelDRAW.Tatsadasayago wrote: There is something so cool about rendering 3d mathematic models to create an image we can relate to...
