Wagoneer Body Interchangeability?

Post by 66stepside »

What Wagoneer body years can be swapped between the years?

Or they all mounted to the same points on the frame throughout the years?

I notice the replacement pucks to mount the body on are the same ones listed 63-91.

I guess it's kinda like will a 90's body fit on 70's frame- or will a mid 80's body on 60's frame?

Not sure when it changed but later bodies have one less mount per side. Access holes are still there in the floor on my '84 but they don't line up with the mounts.

Thanks for the info- I noticed that the frame to body mounts on later model years (mid to late 70's and early 80's) are very different that the 60's era rigs. I wasn't sure if that was because the body's changed design underneath, or if the frames were altered in some way.

76 to 91 frames and body mounts essentially the same. The floor pan on driver side is slightly different between 77 and 78. 63 to 75 had varying changes.
