Tailgate backer board dimensions?

Hello there, I was wondering if someone might have the dimensions for the tailgate carpetbacker board handy, please? Mine hadno backer board and I have a full carpet set on order from BJ's. I was hoping to get material and cut one out before the carpet arrives, but couldn't find dimensions. Thank you for any assistance.

the recessed handle piece starts at 27 1/2 from driver's side or 18 1/2 from passenger side, the depth is 4 1/2 and the cut out is not even picts

You're welcome, any help we can do to help, I realized that the handle cut out is a bit offset so here are more precise measurements

Across the horizontal top is about, about because of the curve cut out it is 5 7/8 to 5 3/4 and the depth at ea bottom valley 4 and 4 3/4 as per pict

I wish I saw this sooner, I would've stuffed my piece of cardboard in the box with the metal pieces for you to use as a template.

No worries, Dave! Letank's awesome measurements and offset photo for the handle made it pretty easy to lay out. Once I have the carpet I will be able to match the corner radii to the board and round the corners.
