Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee...

Post by Stuka »

You misread, they said Cherokee, not Grand Cherokee.

The Grand Cherokee just got a refresh and is the full size SUV for Jeep.

The Cherokee is based on a very modified Alfa Romeo platform. The grill and lights just do not do it for me. Its possible this is a concept which is why is looks so strange. Concepts always have changes before production. I don't see those lights cutting it being so thin.

The rest of it looks fine, but the headlights gotta go.

Woof! If that's their idea of a "Cherokee", they can keep it.

Looks like a cross between an Isuzu Vehicross and a Pontiac Aztec. Blech. It's a disgrace to the Cherokee name. :(

It actually reminds me a lot of the Nissan Juke with the turn signals looking like headlights above the actual headlights.

The rest of it is very similar to the Grand Cherokee, which is fine. Its really just the nose.

And the above photo is from Jeep. Once the spy shots came out they quickly threw together a release package to the press to say "yes its here!" It was originally going to be announced in April.

I'm loosing confident on the new Wagoneer...

That's nice, I saw a couple imported in Italy, a the first I though they were WJ. There was a guy that modified his Comanche with the same grille.

The Jeep dealership in my town posted on fb this pic, saying that after all the talking, Jeep revisited it, I don't know how much true this is because the new nose is based on a old pics. But if they do it so it looks way better.

Thats a photochop with parts from the latest compass.

I would love that front end if they went with it. But as it is, production has already started on them. No way they would change it now.

They can put whatever nose they want on it. The thing that bugs me...is why is it a car now? Argh!

My wifes XJ on the right. As they should be..
