Brake Lights On

New master cylinder and now my brake lights stay on. Non-power system. What am I looking for? 85 CJ7.

Jeeps don't break down, they're just extremely demanding when they need parts replaced!

Found the issue. The metal bar wasnt pushing in the switch all the way.

Had the same problem on my 80 J10 once. I was living in an apartment and my neighbor thought it was neat the older cars lights stayed on a few moments after you exit the vehicle like the newer cars. :lol:

My response....Yup. Pretty neat.
