Dare I say...WK2?

Post by pyro »

Well its no FSJ...however it does keep Jeep in the premium spotlight it once held until the Wagoneer gets re-released (if ever). My wife had a CR-V but has always wanted a Grand Cherokee. I picked this one up as an Enterprise rental return for a steal. To top it off, it motivated me to squeeze both it and the J10 in the 18' garage. I sadly parted with the TJ during the process, and it will be missed. Good news is it went to a friend so I still get to see it on the regular.

Only down side is its 2wd...but then again it won't be seeing more than the occasional dirt driveway or trail. Definitely shows how far jeeps technology has come in 33 years.

I love the WK2s. They drive great, really nice interiors, and are just good vehicles. I looked in to getting one, but ended up going a different route.

Nice score!

I've been eyeing the WK2 myself as a DD at my Montana place.
Would you mind sharing the details about your rental return deal pyro?

I recall Dollar here in Sacramento sold their V6 300s for incredible prices.

Well I bought it from a dealer who got it from auction where it was listed by enterprise. Saved about $10k off a new one.

Enterprise has several direct sale locations and a website that they use to sell their fleet. I have a friend that works at one.
