We're down to "only" 27 things to do on her.
Rims were stripped, wire brushed, sanded, rust treatment, then repainted
A Satin White finish.
The gun rack was cleaned up, but not restored. We reused the sun baked brass screws to hold her up- but I used rubber gaskets to seal out weather.
I used an old Red Ryder BB Gun we found in the basement of our house when we moved in- it has a natural rusty aged patina from being behind the heater for at least 4 decades. It makes for a nice prop, it's non-op, but it won't stay. It does match the vintage NRA sticker on the rear window, though.
I bought 75.00 worth of wire to reroute the harness. I stayed up a little later than normal last night to unwrap the factory tape/wrap so, now we dig into the tedious part.
