Factory j10 duel fuel tank or no?

Post by nylajean44 »

I’ve been trying to find information about this duel fuel tanks on jtrucks but I’ve not no luck. It doesn’t have a switch so I’m guessing it just separates into the other. Was this a factory option or is this an add on? I’ve attached a photo of it in the corner. :-bd

AFAIK Camper Special or J20 only. And on the passenger side, in the corner of the bed.

There normally is a box in that corner for the fuel filler. The one you show has been modified.

There were after market solutions for dual tanks. Do you have a photo of the second tank? The stock one is just in front of the rear axle on the driver side.

This is the factory cover for the fuel filler.

I believe this hole is for a saddle tank on the passenger side - which this truck never had, but is prepared for.
