Center Seat Arm Rest Bolt

Post by argonaut »

This is very specific, but I need one of the chrome shoulder bolts that attaches the upper armrest to the bottom middle seat. One of mine stripped out when trying to dismantle my center seat for re-upholstery.

Otherwise I guess I might be looking for another whole center seat/arm rest...

Check ACE Hardware for something like this?
Can be cut to fit on both sides.

If something like what devildog posted will work, the official term for those is “Chicago Bolt”.
The bus I ride is so short it is a yellow Smart Car full of squirrels, monkeys and clowns.

Thanks for the ideas, guys! I may also try a simple bolt with a sleeve, if I can't get the right shoulder bolt

Not yet. I'm working on new upholstery for the seats and center console.
