Got some work done over the holiday break. Redid the driveshafts, did the air intake for the turbo, finished up the power steering reservoir and the fuel tank. Pics in the Humpty Album, December 10 sub album.

I know we put up a tease video a while ago just turning the engine over for a second so we could check oil primes and prime the Hydroboost and power steeing system, but now we've started it for real with the fuel coming from the fuel tank and the motivation coming from the key in the column. Was that a start without glow plugs enabled? Or is it typical for a 4BT to take a bit to start?

Looks like it fits well. That is one of my dream swaps.

That video was the VERY first start, so the fuel system was still getting primed. No glow plugs ;) it starts immediately now.
