I have seen that guy before as well. Whole lot of work to be done with scale equipment.Brizio wrote:It remind me of this Canadian guy, that is digging the basement of his house with RC toys.
His youtube page with all the videos.
Not hard to do. There are chassis that are leaf sprung and a few different YJ bodies to choose from.JeepsAndGuns wrote:That little thing is awesome. I would love to have a mini RC version of my YJ....lol
Where at? What company makes those?Stuka wrote: Not hard to do. There are chassis that are leaf sprung and a few different YJ bodies to choose from.
Well, Tamiya still makes their full RC YJ, but its not a great platform. It has IFS of all things. But the body is very detailed. You can find just bodies for sale on eBay, like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Tamiya-Jeep-Wra ... 3a80ca1a66JeepsAndGuns wrote:Where at? What company makes those?Stuka wrote: Not hard to do. The JK shown above can be bought for $350, which considering what it comes with is a great deal. But they are built at higher volume so they can make the price lower.JeepsAndGuns wrote:I had a feeling those thigns would be expensive, but WOW, $500 for just the frame/axles. I bet after adding the motors, batteries, body, remote, and whatever else you would need, you could probably spend over $1000, if not more.
I still want one though...lol
My 85 was $250.... OK that was 10 years ago.... and cannot do the Rubicon. Great posting!Stuka wrote: The JK shown above can be bought for $350, which considering what it comes with is a great deal. But they are built at higher volume so they can make the price lower.
