Anybody using trackbars after SOA?

Post by Seemoore »

Just finished installing "TT's" SOA and Shackle Flip kit. Had to remove my track bars. Does anyone still use them after an SOA?

Sway bars... YES!

Trac bars... No. They are the most useful for towing and road handling. And with that much lift, heavy towing is typically off the table.

Plan to add 30" tires, but I want to do everything I can to keep it handling well on the highway.

You can keep your front sway bar easy enough.

With some sway bar disconnects (built or bought) you can have the flex and articulation that a SOA is usually done for and still have good highway manners.
I would ditch the trac bars, just make sure all your spring and shackle bushings are in good shape.
