Wow, wish I could have found that before I did my front 60 gears a couple mo's ago. I read as much as possible but in the end actually doing it and seeing it w/ my own eyes made it make much more sense. I agree that those pattern pics they give you in the instructions are for fire starter only. His pics on that site are awesome for comparison. I can't imagine setting up gears w/o some setup bearings either. Without them I prolly would have pulled them 20 times before finally getting it right. I found that other than a dial indicator you also need a day of uninterruption and patience.
