I would like to keep it under $50 give or take a few. I plan on using it mainly to restore my chief, frame, tub, etc. I had a siphon set up with a wand using play sand before and now I have a hopper. My air compressor has a max limit of 200 PSI. I know i can filter and reuse it. I am flexable on budget, but if I can do it on the cheap, that would be great. I saw 80 grit TSC brand for 24$, but decided to wait and get some input first. Thanks
I doubt you can keep it under $50 even using playsand.
I have a full suit, silica will kill you.
We use StarBlast (recycled slag) about $1 per pound, but I would never try to do a frame with it.
It's too much territory to cover at that price.
Are you sure you need to blast all that?
Most of this can be done with a wire wheel and an angle grinder.
I would also pressure wash everything first.
No point in wasting time and $$ on areas that do not need it.

You would be amazed what a pressure washer can do.

I may be overzealous, but I was planning on completely restoring my chief. I figured if I'm gonna have it completely apart I might as well do it right and be done with it.

I got 50lbs of "Black Diamond" from Northern for less than $20. The bag claims to have only 2% silica. It's great for removing paint and light rust without stressing sheet metal; I haven't tried it on heavy metal--like frames.
