J -Truck Slides

Post by rstep »

Been working on these since February with the help members on here. Started with rock slides to fit a 6' short bed and have the first 3 sets ready to weld up.
Using 2x2 x.120 box for the main piece with 1.5 or 1.75 ,.120 round . one is DOM tubing .They will bolt on using the bolts on the rear tranny mount location and then in the back bolt on centered at the cross mount .

Should give a good idea of what they will look like, still have to cut the mounts and get a few sets mounted on rigs. The plan is by next month all the first sets will be where they need to be.
More come.

very, very, VERY nice! I really like 'em.

Do they still clear without a body lift? Are you thinking of fabbing some up to sell down the road?
