No pics yet. The body lift is combined with a mixed bag of suspensions lift. If my calculations are correct it should be 7.5" lift in the front and 8.5" in the rear. All while staying sua in the front:o

I'm undecided on the front shackles. Once I get it on the road I'll make a choice between the bjs and the Chevy shackle. For now it's sitting with the bjs because they help level it out

Today I got a hand from my brother and we moved the transmission, t-case, and x member to the rear mounting holes in the frame (the ones intended for i6)

Went to local pick n save to help my brother pull 74 Cherokee Dana 44s for his samurai and left with a load of nice fsj parts for my wag. parts list to follow. Razor grill head light buckets. hood bar. Tail Light lenses. Rear spoiler. Aftermarket black headliner with all the trim and sun visors. aluminum fuel cap.
All the parts came from the 74 Cherokee except the hood bar and one head light bucket. Those came off a wt j4000 with brow and razor grill. No pics of the junkers they had both been wrecked in the front end

The heart of my fuel system arrived today. 96 lt1 corvette fuel pump providing 90 psi. And a 91 s10 Blazer sending unit. The fuel pressure regulator on the 4.0 fuel rail will nock the pressure down. I'm going to get some rubber fuel line from a local parts store as well as a fuel filter.

Installed the hood bar to go with my razor grille yesterday. I ran the razor on my 88 for 3 years without the hood bar. I loved the hood scoop look with my hot rodded 360 and loud exhaust.
Now I've grown tired of it and it just looked like an incomplete razor swap.

I did a dry fit on the 4.0 in the wag bolted to the 727. With the trans X member being moved to the rear mounting holes the motor was hitting the fire wall and the intake was hitting the master cylinder.
I pulled the motor out. And dropped the skid plate/x member. I drilled new mounting holes in the X member that position the trans 1.25" forward. This will help move the back of the head off the fire wall. This will also move the motor mounts on the engine closer to the frame mounts. giving me about 50% contact between rubber motor mount and the frame mount. Don't mind my crappy drilling skills:shock:
I already have the "horseshoe" intake that is needed to clearance the brake booster. I will swap that on before I reinstall the motor. I got a mopar performance manifold gasket with the steel ring exhaust ports from a buddy of mine that sold me the header.

I made the angle iron frame for my fuel tank skid today. I'm going to cut a thick piece of metal to fix on the bottom side. got it to fit tight so it will take up as little room as possible underneath the Jeep

I cut a hole in the bell housing of tf727 in order for it to accept a cps. I measured the depth of the tone ring and made my pilot hole accordingly. I opened the pilot hole up with a die
Now I need to make a bracket to hold the sensor in place.
