Fiberglass body on CJ5?

In general, what are members option on fiberglass body on FSJ? There is a CJ5 one I can get for next to nothing with straight 6, but entire body has a fiberglass kit installed

Are you asking if there is a fiberglass body available for FSJs? If so, nobody makes one.

If you are asking if a CJ with a fiberglass body is worth getting, the answer is maybe. They will never rust, but the tailgate doesnt open, and they are worth a lot less than a good steel body.

Sorry the CJ5 already has a fiberglass body on it. How can I tell year and vin then?

Whoever swapped the body should have removed the VIN plate from the old body and put it on the new body. The VIN will be on the registration, and must match the plate on the body.

Suggest you get the VIN and any other info from the seller, and go here http://www.earlycj5.com to ask about it.

The inline 6 means it's almost certainly 1972 or newer.
