LOL. If you do dump it, I might try to borrow it off of you to drag the Cherokee behind a buddy's diesel. (no trailer between)jsinajeep wrote:Yep, I have site 59 locked in. . Think I will need to dump the tow dolly for next year

You think the jeep looks good you should see Kenny. He apparently got a good dental plan unlike what he had in the previous years. His Clint Eastwood look was good this year.Grand_Wag_85 wrote:2014 dates?

X2, looks good in person.
At least you had a FSJ there, I only had the grille and center caps...Gumby wrote:I must say thank you all for letting me tag along, I had a blast above the tree line. I may not be making it up for the next trip but I will be preparing for the return. I got towed one too many times so that can't happen when I return. I will post pictures tomorrow.

We did about 2,800 miles, and I thought our last day of 795 miles was long.Tonka J200 wrote:Here it is Wednesday evening, and we're back home in Michigan, safe and sound.
4,304 miles total!
After we left on Saturday, we drove down to Durango (Bayfield actually) to visit a friend's parents. We drove west from there and followed Flint and Krista's suggestion and drove straight west in to Utah, and then down through Monument Valley, and on to the Grand Canyon.
We spent the day there Sunday (WOW!!) and then headed for home on Monday. Made it to Amarillo, TX and then drove Amarillo to Indianapolis on Tuesday (980 miles!) then home on Wednesday. When we got to the Canyon, I noticed the driver side rear wheel seal was leaking - only days after it was replaced in Montrose. Great.....
But I kept an eye on the oil level and made it home.
We had a great time in Ouray! Like everyone else, we didn't get as much trail time, but just being there and hanging out with old and new friends is the real point of going. There were times I wished I had driven my Wagoneer out again, and times I was glad it was safe and snug back home. Thanks for all that everyone does to make this happen every year!
Going to get back to work on my truck and get ready for my next trip west!
