Tilt column question

Post by wewillsurvive »

Can I swap the pretty parts from one column to another? Meaning can I take the brown parts of one column and put them on one that is currently Burgundy? Or better yet can I just get a brown column that isn't tilt?

Alternators, winches, 4x4, guns all have the same issue if you don't have any knowledge of them usually bad things will happen. Serehill

You can do yourself a better if your column is in good shape.
Paint the stuff.
Interior paint and dyes have come a long way. Back in the day, dashes, dashpads, consoles etc. came from the parts room tan in color. If the interior was a different color, a can or two of paint/dye was included. Kinda smart on AMC's part I gotta say.

Yes.

I used parts from a 74 wagoneer, 79 Cherokee, 85 gm van (4 speed shift plate), and a 95 Cherokee
