I'm going to keep it for awhile at least till I read through it. It cover a wide variety of jeeps including the cj and j truck series.

I also found out that I have a Hinkel jeep. If your not familiar with Hinkel do a google search on Hinkel jeep. It was the biggest jeep dealer back in the day. Pretty neat, I think.

Didn't do too much today. Been kinda burned out since been working non stop for the last couple of weeks. Have all the big fabrication done so it's mostly little stuff that cost $$$.

Test fit the fuel tand and have it strapped up in place. Put the coolant over flow on. Need to take it back off and clean it out. Put the return line from the hydro boost to ps pump. Put the hood back on. Looked into the tc shifter. Put the down pipe on the turbo. Just didn't have much motivation today. Here's a coulpe picks. I did sit in the drivers seat for about 2 hrs last night. Lol

Got the fuel tank done as far as mounting it. Still need to plumb it. Probably mess around this week and do that.

Also made that tc shifter today. Waiting on the paint to dry some before I install it.

So I took the week off from working on the jeep in the evenings and have found my next task. Have not been looking forward to this but it's not the first vehicle I've wired so it shouldn't be to bad. Best thing is, there's no computer!

Yeah, wiring should not be too much of an hassle. There isn't a whole lot that gets power.

Took me all of about 2 hours. Still have some stuff to delete but most is done. It was pretty hacked up inside.

Did a little work on the jeep today. Finished welding the spring buckets to the frame and painted them.

Also started getting the instrument cluster ready for some gauges. I took a blank cluster and prepped it for an aluminum plate to hold the new gauges. Hopefully Santa will get my gauges!

Gonna probably paint it black after I get the gauges fitted.

This is what I'm planing to use:

Tachometer

Volt meter

Fuel gauge

Oil pressure

Pyrometer

Are you not using a spring isolator up front? They are not a must, but certainly cut down on road vibrations.

What do you mean by isolator? I'm gonna put some bilstein 5100 series shocks all around.

You mean between the spring and the spring bucket?

Yeah, its typically a softish rubber that goes between the spring and the spring bucket.

I haven't thought too much about it. Since they are stock F250 lift springs I imagine I can see if I can get some OEM isolators from Ford.
