86 grand wagoneer part out

Post by 80Limited »

Pick up an 86 for the grille and don’t need the rest.
Carpet is in good shape just needs a severe cleaning, would be a complete set minus the tailgate. All window trim is there. Intact fan shroud. Don’t know the condition of the drivetrain but it’s all there. Would like the whole thing gone soon. Pictures describe the rest. Located in Mn.Image

Looks to have recent plates on it.
Does it run?
Do you have title?
Looks like it would be worth fixing up to drive again as not typical rust on the body for urban MN.
Pics of engine, underside, frame, any/all areas you can post would be great.

I do have title. It hasn’t run since 06. The frame is rusted along with the tank skid plate. The rockers, floors quarters and doors are rusted and or smashed. I was told it runs like a top when it was parked but there is a lot of nests under the hood and in the air cleaner. It’s a pretty rough Jeep.

Ok, so truly a parts truck, or for someone who is willing to do a lot of work. Have a friend that had a CJ7 in this shape given to him, and is now a solid runner with no rust. He went through the frame/body and cut out all the rust, then replaced/rebuilt what was needed, and saved another Jeep from the crusher.
Thanks for the additional information, hoping someone will take the truck under wing, and bring it back to life :)

What condition are the passenger and drivers door glass (just the windows, not the wing windows)?
Not sure how you feel about shipping glass.

They’re in good shape. I don’t know about the lift bars though. I’ve shipped door glass before. I just super cushion it.

How much for the power mirror control stick?

Also, any idea if the idle solenoid works?

Thank you for PM and sorry to post in the thread again, but I'm brand new to the forum and cannot respond to your message.

I’ll take my chances on the mirror control if the price is right and it doesn’t crumble when you take it out.

I could use a few other items as well and since I can’t respond inside the forum, would you be willing to PM your email?
