I will be watching this with great intrest.. lol. I've always thought it would be sweet to put a 6 cylinder John Deere engine in a truck of some kind.. Who knows, if I can't get this 360 working, I might have figured out what I'll do, lol.

We centered the motor and started mocking up the motor mounts. Also, moved the intake (there's 3 possible locations on the intake) and flipped and reversed the turbo. As it was intake at the rear and exhausting at the front of the motor. We'll have to relocate the waste gate diaphragm.

We built the cradle today for the motor. It bolts rigidly to the motor and will tie to the bottom of the frame with 2" bushings. We still have to make the frame fasteners and bushing sleeves.
I was surprised that it didn't load the front suspension more--looks good.

So, the Cherokee didn't make it back today. We moved the original trans-xmember back and added a spacer only to find out that the Chevy NP208 front drive shaft will hit :x The drive train is supported and we'll roll it to the back to make room for the Cherokee. It maybe mid December before we get back to it. :(

No, it hits the xmember. The Chevy unit has a Dip built into it for that reason. We'll use that in the future.

Silly question, but you did make sure it's not a reverse rotation engine?
