Good Jeep scrapyards in Phoenix?

Post by TUDrewser »

While I realize the BEST places are held close to the chest, where do you guys like to go for jeep parts in Phoenix? Or AZ in general for that matter? There are quite a few scrapyards, and seems like I saw a jeep specific one years ago around Washington and the 202 (give or take a few miles)), but nothing comes up searching. I didn't have a Jeep then so wasn't too concerned :banghead: Anyway, curious where you go for picking parts.

On a different but related topic, how about mechanics or machine shops that specialize in Jeep/AMC...things like engine rebuilds, off-road fixes, etc? While I am looking forward to working on it myself for the most part, I'd rather have my list before I need it.

The place on Washington was J&W. I have not seen it advertised for several years, so dont know about its fate.

If you were closer, I'd say bring it over... :D

Dead Horse Ranch is one of our favorite places to camp, and I don't think that's too far from you. :fsj: Careful what you offer ;-)
