Ive always liked the idea of a twin stick transfer case. I was wondering what the best CHEAP twin stick would be. Of course the atlas II is like a pipe dream for me, but realistically, what are the options?

"Hey y'all, watch this!" means get out the camera FSJ related donations now being accepted
This is the list of factory transfer cases than can be twin-sticked. Spicer 18, Dana 20, Dana 300, NP205, Toyota gear drive cases. If it's got a chain, it can't be done.
1977 Cherokee S, Ford 5.0, 5 speed, BW 1356, 33 x 10.50 BFG's. No longer my DD.
2007 Mercury Milan, 2.3L, 5-speed, now my DD. 29 mpg average.
Like csuengr said, has to be gear drive. For an FSJ, a D20 is the easiest as they are available from the factory. You need to have a TH400 (Or T18a that the D20 came behind anyway), and you need the adapter and change out the output shaft on the trans.
