As for me it's still on.
If we have to relocate because of the wet ground or wash we will.
I have packed 2 20 x 30 tarps we can build us something. Right now south east Tucson is dry.
Yep, you folks on the road drive safe.
Em and I are packed except for some perishables that get loaded in the morning.

We will build a tarp town if needed.

Twice baked mashed potatoes are once baked...second baking tomorrow. Hope I made enough. Lot of cream cheese and sour cream were gone through in the making of these :)

Drew, those look tasty!

I picked up two pork tenderloins, 36 slider rolls, mayo, onions, tortilla's, cheese and salsa. I plan on handing this out around noon as a hold over snack till the feast! I even picked up some mild salsa for the kids and wimps. I will need people to eat some food before the feast.

I am going to caravan with Drew, his family and friends.

Jeff, truly sorry you and the missus won't make it. I hope she is doing better today. We will miss you all.

The rain did provide something good, my wife, who normally works a Gilbert Softball tournament this weekend every year is now able to come with me and the boys since the games are all canceled. Yeah! See ya all in the morning.

We made it to Florence just now. (12:43AM)
The jeep is soggy, we are kinda soggy, and the windshield wipers never got turned off the whole way out.
Looking forward to seeing our best friends in the morning, and meeting some of our NEW best friends.

Hey!

Any of you have extra kerosine?
We forgot to bring some for our stove

See ya in a few hours.

Jeff is probably correct.

If you look at the past 24 hour storm total and where we are headed (just south of the n&c in florence) we are still the trace to .10" zone.
Wish I would have hooked up the heater in the jeep.

Everyone make it home? Martin, we heard you had problems. Heimeken I know you have a drive in from of you!

Had a great time. THe food was AWESOME. The weather finally took a good turn so it turned out to be a nice evening.

All of the usual suspects, it was good to see you again. Our special out of state friends F and K it was great to hang you! The new friends Dusty and the first timers Drew, his family and his wrenching partner, I was glad you could join us. Dusty your engine is a thing of beauty, Drew, next time we will get some more wheel'n for sure.

I hope we can keep this tradition up.

Yes, good time indeed! We are all home safe. Stopped at the self serve car wash and washed off the bottom of the jeep and camper...they were pretty well caked. And at least we didn't have to worry about bees ;)

Yup once again the " tow monkey" got one. I have oil in my coolant but no coolant in my oil. I have had an exhaust leak for some time now and I think it blew out the seal around a galley and thus getting oil into the coolant.

It was a fun trip I did not take any good pictures at all, my stomach still hurts. The rain was a pain but it did clear up nicely. Very happy to see some old faces and to also meet the new ones. We will surely try to keep this one going.

Well Martin, not sure what to say except that sucks.
We hung back a bit thinking you were feeling bad, then dropped into Oracle Junction for lunch at Lupe's.
Figured you folks passed us and didn't see the jeep and trailer parked there.

Only unpacked clothes and food so far but I think a second hot shower might get the rest of the smoke and ashes out of my eyes.

After getting Martin back to town , I jumped off to the FSJ Rescue and had a cold one with Tad. I pulled in to the house a little after 6pm.
Had a great weekend ,it was cold , it was rainy and windy too say the least .My count came in at 10 Fsj's, 3 Rams, a Tundra and Tk. 36 people willing to show up, thank you to each and everyone.
The weather broke by early afternoon and once the fire and food got going everyone seemed to feel better about being there.

Some more pics...not very good group shots, grabbed then right before we left, but it's something!

Also, we had two serving spoons and a pampered chef carving knife go missing. The spoons are valued at about a dollar, so not worried about those, but would like to pick up the knife next time we see whoever has it ;)
