Hackberry Trail

Post by jsinajeep »

I did Hackberry/Powerline Trail today with Kevin and friends. Just a few pics.
On the way there

I was following Kevin

And he said he did not like looking in the rear view mirror and seeing someone stealing his 78
Cherokee. Look like I might need to go back to the Rhino Grille[don't think so :D ]

The trail was nice, but " friendly" you really need to be locked front and rear or plan on be there awhile trying to
get over and around the rocks. We spent over an hour getting two unlocked Jeep up the last mountain.

We had Kevin as the traffic directory or as we call them SPOTER :D. Krista got to drive the GC up and over and around the rock
and was doing a better job than me [only because Kevin was spotting her :D ]

I thought it was longer than that [08] but it was still ruff going on a lot of it. It was good to look through those pictures again.

Was fun on Saturday although every time I looked in my rearview mirror, I swear I though someone stole my old jeep. Freaky! Jerry, I will send you some pics to post up a little later on. Trail has gotten more difficult since we ran it in '08.

Tad, that is still one of my favorite picts of my old jeep coming back up that hill.

My son's scout troop hiked that a few months ago (and again this coming May). I had no idea it was also a vehicle trail...
