Ok, looking forward to the weekend. Looks like light showers the next two days and then dry with 60 degrees for Saturday! Should be a great day for sights and should allow the road to dry up some.
I was hoping to get my distributor conversion done before this trip but I do not think it will happen unless I get some time Friday.
So to make this trip a little more interesting and extended I will plan to take the back route using the old Oregon Trail Route that goes behind Micron to Bonneville Point. That is if it is still open for vehicle travel. Been some time since I have been on this trail. We will then head out Blacks Creek to Mayfield Road and then to Danskin Lookout Road. This will be a nice scenic windy route. We will also pass through the old town of Mayfield.
Mayfield: A dry-farming area. Originally named Corder, for a pioneer family who ran a stage station from 1865 to 1887 about 6 mi NE of the present site. Post office, 1883-. Renamed Mayfield in 1887, for the second postmaster, Arthur Mayfield.
Depending on our moods and time we can extend this trip to a couple other nearby locations.

Well it was not snow. it was not a BIG RUTT! It was not bad weather.......that stop us from reaching the top. Fuel tank problems within a few miles from our destination. Getting late in the day so we called this one a good day and turned around. All are home and safe now. Great trip! We will have to make a new thread soon, Danskin Peak #2.

It was a beautiful day for a ride. We had a great time.
A BIG thanks for all the help with my fuel tank issues. Especially HikoJeep for running me to the parts store and back for a couple fuel filters.
Another great choice for our 2nd group run, G! Thanks for leading the way.
Fantastic day. Beautiful weather and amazing scenery. And just the right amount of McGyver'in to keep Wagsy running. Definitely need to do this one again.
Hope y'all will post your photos and vids.
