I just installed one of the test chains Sunday. The old chain had 1 1/8" slack, the new Ramsay chain had 1/8" slack. It looks exactly like the new Morse chains we have here except the link stamping is different. The new chain fit fine. It is in a QT that was an NOS install in 2007 and had about 60K on it. We will beat on it at Ouray next week and I may have more to report after that.
New cone clutches would be cool. I already have the shaft from Novak and a chain installed. Probably under 10,000 miles on both, but the cone clutch is questionable. Had to swap in one from a parts QT.
Just as a side note. The Jeep tech that helped me with my cone clutch said to lock in the emergency drive anytime I am on loose stuff. It is suppose to save on those splines on the clutches.

I hope the 250.00 price holds, I was on the phone with Ramsey earlier this year and the estimated cost was 560.00.
It's exciting to hear QT parts might be coming. Mines working great, but will eventually need parts. Thoroughly impressed with its performance. Also have a spare sitting in the barn! And I used to be a die hard gear drive tcase guy!

With all this good news I might have to buy one of the many cheap rigs I see floating around craigslist with qt issues for cheap

Question. If we do get all of the parts needed to rebuild our QTs, what will we do about the special fluid needed for them?? Is it readily available somewhere at a decent price and I'm just overlooking it?
