yep me again

J10 1978...dome light worked. dome light quit working. replaced dome light. still does not work. checked owners manual for fuse location. can't seem to find a fuse designated for the dome light. so now I am asking for help....Help!! where is the fuse :?:

Go to the wiring diagram in the TSM or from the Tom Collins site. Find the dome light on the diagram. Trace the wire back to the fuse panel. Determine the fuse from the drawing.

That's how I'd find it, and I don't have the incentive that you do.

Every time those have failed for me, it the door button. The internals just wear out and stop grounding. This assumes the dash switch wont turn it on also.

Yep the dash switch might be bad also

well an update. bad wiring. so I just have to replace one of the wires and I should be up and running. thanks for all the help.
