What is this?

Post by Johnzi10 »

This was in the back of my Waggoner when I bought it, along with the window regulator and multiple bots/screws. Any ideas?

I honestly haven’t got a clue. Never seen one before. Surely someone will chime in that knows.

Well I can say with a high degree of certainty that after taking apart over two dozen FSJ's I have never seen one before. It might be from a late model Wagoneer as I have never taken apart one of those.
I used to name my FSJ’s after their previous owners, I realized I had too many with five named Rick.

Dang raccoons again!

The plastic screw-in is the exact same as for the license plate drew mounts. The previous and original owner looked like he was trying to fix the wiper, as the old motor and some aftermarket motor were in the back. He had wrapped the glass and it was in the back seat.glass mount was rusted and bent, regulator with motor off was there, along with 1original spacer and a poor attempt to cut others. He had obviously taken care of it( new tires, alternator, trans cooling lines new) with all the maintenance. He had a nice hood ornament in the glovebox and had the wood redone at some time. A 1980 mobile phone( black Leather case, wire and handset was a real blast to see under the seat!

So cool! That phone probably cost a fortune back in 1980

I only found some live ammo under passenger seat in mine :) stuck with primer right against seat bracket corner, waiting for a big enough bump...
