Have a few holes in my OEM fluid reservoir.
Is there a best known fix for these such as JB Weld epoxy etc?
The patch holes on my units are near 1” roughly so I will need to add something for the bulk to fill the opening.
Thx
I would try to find a rubber plug roughly the same size, put it with the mushroom head looking inside the bottle and glue/jbweld it in place. Should be more resistant to vibrations than jbweld alone

Probably polypropylene, same stuff that Tupperware is made of. You could cut a patch and glue it to the inside. Hold it in place with a screw till it dries, then fill the screw hole(s).

Good luck finding a used one, most of the 70's seem to developed cracks. The later years with the electric washer pump seem sturdier, but then the pump fails and the replacements are a smidge too narrow and leak around the grommet, best is to add an external washer pump.
As said , I fixed small cracks with silicon and it has held up.
Otherwise because of our washer location, it is impossible to find a replacement that will fit without extensive engine bay remodeling. I scoured various brand a few years ago to try to find something to fit.... some of the small import pick up have small reservoir that can be fitted on the firewall, or coolant overflow tank that are skinny to be tucked in.

BJs sells aluminum washer reservoir - it is expensive ($140) and [in my opinion] stock plastic bottle looks better, but it will probably last longer then the rest of the Jeep

I used PC Products 2 part epoxy putty (JB Weld is porbably just as good) on my coolant reservoir after a thorough cleaning and scuffing the repair area with a scotchbrite pad. Worked really good, just ugly, but it was no where near that large of a repair. I think those bottles are usually something like PET plastic probably, maybe you can weld in a patch using a similar thickness piece?
That’s what I might try too do is surgically place a piece there and weld the seams with something .
I’ll go look up the PC products and see what I can come up with.
thx

I believe i have a washer bottle in atorage from my 90 that works ( motor) and has 0 holes. The mounting tabs are good too. I just swapped it for a (cleaner) looking bottle on another Jeep lol.
