Heater core Fitment & yeas

Post by 1978J10REDWHITE »

The 76 J20 core leaked out on me so Searching and a bit too much confusion on the intranet .
Anyone have a good reliable source for proper ones from any source?
None of them I contacted give any measurement on their parts and the years-span their sites claim for application, are ambiguous.

I recall that I bought what was available for my '77 and it was right. I think it was a Spectra? RockAuto currently shows three brands, all out of stock. They are all the same for models 10-20-40.

These changed in 1978, with 8122120 being the earlier ('74-77) and 8128784 for '78-80. If I search for the right part number, I get a part that includes that number. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.ph ... 38&jsn=399 However, that also comes up for the later number. It does give measurements.
