CJ mud flaps on an FSJ?

Hey y'all, new member here. I've been searching high and low and can't seem to figure this out.

Just bought my dream, one-owner 1984 Grand Wagoneer, rust-free, 77K original, all stock (stay tuned for a build thread and tons of photos once we're road worthy). Trying to find OEM mud flaps, which is like the holy grail at a black Friday sale. Came across a NOS set for a CJ, and while they're definitely not the same, I wonder if they'd fit, or if it's possible to finagle with some mods? Anyone tried this? Between FSJN and IFSJA, found the diagrams below. Thanks.

I am sure people have done it, but I have not seen it directly posted about on a forum. It would most likely require making a custom mount, which isn't a big deal. But may also require cutting the NOS CJ ones if you want them to conform to the body. But if you are ok with them not conforming to the round part behind the tire, they should just work as is with a fabricated mount.
