Funny how sometimes things aren't as bad as they seem

Post by srobertsfsj »

Decided to tackle the wobbly tilt on the steering column today. I have been putting it off for a long time just because the whole thing looked pretty intimidating. Ouray is close and I am sick and tired of the slop so I gave it a shot using this write up - http://www.epiccomputer.com/dale/jeepju ... /tilt.html

My biggest worry before I started was pulling he side pins but they actually came out fairly easy using the homemade setup in the write up. I was also worried about putting everything back correctly but I took my time and once I figured out how everything work it really wasn't that bad. Anyway, I can't believe how solid the column and steering wheel is now. Ouray, here I come!! :D
