I installed a 3" lift on my 1990 GW, and the shackle bushings were about worn out. I needed to get the truck back on the road, so I just put the shackles back in. Well, a week later the right shackle sound terrible, lots of squeaking and grinding noises.
I read someplace that the XJ shackles are a direct perfect replacement for the FSJ front and rear shackles. Is this true?
Anyone have a part number or year range that I can pick up some shackles at my local autoparts store? I'd rather not have to replace those sleeved bushings in the shacks and just replace the shacks themselves.
