Boobie Grill marker lights

Post by Knucklehead »

Are the sockets in the marker lights in a boobie grill replaceable, or does the whole light need to be replaced?

Not sure what you mean exactly. The lamp assembly is seperate from the plastic grille insert. Two bolts and they are out. The lamp socket itself is fixed inside the lamp assembly.

Some of the AMC cars used the same lamp assembly and some were shaped a little different in how they mount to the cars.

The driver side marker light on the boobie grill Grant installed does not work. We have no spare light. I was hoping there would be a way for me to fix it with out hunting down an entire new reflector assy. We still have the lower marker lights, so tonight we are going to try and fix the socket on the Boobie. Nothin beats shiny boobies. *-:)

We have a couple spares. Let me know if you would like to get one of them.

Thanks Flint. If we can't get it fixed I will let you know. We may have a spare as well in our somewhat limited parts stash.

I am sure we can spare one if you need it. Another potential donor is the box nose 72/73 Commando.
