Dakota Digital CRS-2000 cruise control

Post by sirrus »

Did anyone use DD CRS-2000 cruise kit to replace stock setup? Looks like it should be more or less plug and play solution

Thinking about using this instead of fixing stock vacuum/electrical setup - will be able to get rid of second vacuum canister, vacuum servo (which is dead I think) and cruise control box inside. And it supposed to work with factory stalk on later (86-91) models

I'll probably be using this kit or one similar to it. The factory system is temperamental and leaves a lot to be desired.

Good to know! You’ll probably get to it earlier than me - please share your experience

Doubtful! I'm stuck on the opposite side of the world right now due to the virus.

I installed it, but didn’t get to test or drive it yet. You can find some details in my build thread. Once I’ll have cruise control fully enabled, I’ll update it with more details

I have it installed, however I also used the Dakota Digital dash and computer. Not sure how a stand alone cruise control would be installed.https://scontent-ort2-2.xx.fbcdn.net/v/ ... e=60E7578F

Thanks guys. Itselliot I plan to also use DD’s gauge pod for FSJ’s. How does everything work for you? Looks good.
