I am trying to figure out what exactly I need to swap an electric choke on my 2150 carb. I have all the wiring still from my carter. Here's a pic of what i have to work with...

Looks like you just need to buy a Electric choke for a 2150 lolol

You should be able to pull off that conversion cover and simply install a new choke coil. I'm guessing the choke pull off breaks are still on there too.

Do some searching of old posts about this. The factory choke coil must be supplemented by hot air from the choke stove in the manifold.

Supposedly you can take the choke coil from a 2V BBD and flop the coil over so it turns backwards, and use that. I have tried that setup, and it did not seem very satisfactory. The Holley electric choke kit may also work - I've found that Holley choke parts fit on Motorcraft carbs.

The stock choke coils needed the hot air, but you can get all electric ones that don't require it.
