Flipping a pitman arm

Post by j20brett »

Is this possible? Are the splines tapered on teh arm itself? I would like to run a 2" or 4" dpa upside down to give the steering a little more clearance from the tierod.

Well you got me all curious so I just went and checked the box on my steering brace jig.
There is a definite visible taper and I could not get an arm (tried 2) to go upside down.
